Dear Artist,

Thank you so much for creating for me! I mostly hang on the fic side of things so I'm not great at prompting for art, but I love a wide variety of art and styles so definitely don't feel beholden to my art likes! I will be thrilled with, like, my OTP standing next to each other or my blorbo looking cool/goofy/etc.!

Likes:

• Limited and/or unusual color palettes, greyscale with one splash of color
• Pixel art
• Mixed media, collage, papercraft, etc.
• Looking into a cracked mirror where one piece shows a memory or the person they used to be, etc.
• Fibercraft (if you make me a pattern I will make it)
• Art Deco (especially for Opal City denizens!)
• Tarot cards
• Comics! My other letters have fic prompts with more ideas for sequential art.
• Recreations of classic art/comic covers/etc.
• Facial expressions! I love fun facial expressions--think Kevin Maguire.
• Cool swirly magic/powers/etc
• Dramatic silhouettes
• Adorable animals/creatures/monstrosities, especially with baby animals/creatures/monstrosities

My ship art likes:

• A very broad definition of shippy--I love pre-ship stuff too, so don't worry if it's too gen if they're in the same picture.
• Moments before their first kiss, just looking at each other with their hearts in their throats.
• Shippy canon moments (what counts as shippy? Yes).
• Just barely touching hands, reaching for each other, etc.
• The thing where they're upside down/mirroring each other.
• Forehead touching.
• Slow dancing.
• Hurt/comfort - A helping a wounded B to safety, huddling for warmth, clinging to each other, etc.
• Kissing, banging, etc. - Y'know. I prefer clothes staying at least partially on (both because it's easier to identify them and because it's hot), but otherwise go to town!
• Sexy use of powers. See individual requests for more details!

Do Not Want:

• Heavy bodily fluids, especially spit connecting people's mouths. Sweat & blood are a-ok.
• Detailed gore. Once again, blood is good, just don't detail the wounds.
• Animal harm to the adorable animals/creatures/monstrosities.
• Unrequested pairings for requested characters. (Defining it narrowly here--drawing a character's canonical wedding ring is fine, drawing unrequested character A smooching requested character B is not.) Exceptions are listed under requests.

Baldur's Gate (Video Games)

Fandom-specific DNWs: Emperor-bashing (including in artist's notes or saying how much better Omeluum is)

• Group: Balduran/Wyll Ravengard & Group: The Emperor/Wyll Ravengard: The idea of Wyll romancing the Emperor makes me feral. The monster hunter falling for the monster, two people who love Baldur's Gate so much, how they even navigate Stelmane... I'd like horned Wyll (unless pre-canon) and I prefer human Balduran over elf. I've included a reference for my Balduran headcanon below, but don't feel limited to that!
  • Dancing!!! 
  • Wyll with Dream Guardian Balduran, possibly with the Emperor out of Wyll's sight behind him
  • Wyll tenderly touching a statue or bust of Balduran (with or without the Emperor there)
  • Wyll being tender with the Emperor (kissing a tentacle like a hand, etc.)
• Group: Ansur & Wyll Ravengard: SPEAKING OF THINGS THAT MAKE ME FERAL. Wyll's parallels with Ansur are so good and they should be friends! Or bang!! Please no Emperor bashing, but Ansur's canon rage towards it is good. Alive, humanoid, or undead Ansur are all good, as is OT3 with Balduran or the Emperor.
• Group: Blurg/Omeluum: and Group: Blurg/Omeluum/Tav: I love these scientists!! I love them being married for decades before realizing it, I love them doing science or relaxing or anything. I'd love to see any Tav or Durge get to romance them too!
  • Cuddling in the Underdark
  • Holding each other and/or confessing their feelings after Omeluum is rescued from the Iron Throne
  • One of them noting down scientific observations while (accidentally?) turning on the other
• Group: The Emperor/non-illithid Tav: The romance I will always take! I love the Emperor's intimacy with Tav during the sex scene, and I love the idea of it being touch-starved and Logically Calculating that sex is an efficient way to get Tav to trust them. I love that tentative connection and morally ambiguous Emperor and them being drawn to each other beyond just needing each other. My Tav (references below)/Emperor would be lovely, but your Tav or Durge would also be great! Balduran can come too, as can anyone else you ship with Tav.
  • Tav teasing the Emperor and otherwise not taking it seriously
  • Doing typical Baldur's Gate things like walking along the Chionthar or visiting statues of Balduran or going to see Dribbles
  • The Emperor looking ominously manipulative or looming behind Tav, but in a sexy way
• Recipent's Tav (Baldur's Gate): References for my Tav are below; I'll add full-body references and a link to her Tumblr tag. I'd love to see her being warlocky (casting eldritch blast, making impulsive decisions regarding monstrosities, managing to alarm her Great Old One patron), enjoying the environment (she's a Baldurian who now lives in the Underdark), or communing with animals (she is convinced she can understand them without Talk With Animals. She cannot). I'd also adore her with the Emperor (see above), Astarion (she can pick him up and that's beautiful), or her BFF Eigengrau (vanishinghitchhiker's Tav, references below).

Tav: a large 40-something tiefling Warlock with a burn scar over her left cheek and a sick tattoo over it. She has reddish-brown hair with grey streaks. Also pictured: her post-astral tadpole look that really went with the same aesthetic. She likes fancy patterned clothes and would have worn the Rufflesome Blaggart hat all game if it had stats. Eigengrau: vanishinghitchhiker's Tav, a drow ranger (no we didn't get into Drizzt until long after he was created) who summons as many birds as is physically possible. He's, importantly, shorter than Tav. See his adventures with Tav on my Tumblr.

Crossover Fandom

• Group: Vritra (Fate/Grand Order) & Big Challenges (Hello Kitty Island Adventure): They are both lizards who want to see others overcome challenges and they are both absolutely perfect! Let them be friends!!!
  • Watching other FGO or Sanrio characters undertaking big challenges and cheering them on (or providing the challenge in Vritra's case)!
  • Sunbathing on a warm rock or curled up under a kotatsu
• Group: Astarion (Baldur's Gate)/Drizzt Do'Urden (Legend of Drizzt): Astarion's fanboy crush on Drizzt in the High Rollers D&D game is incredible and I think he should be able to live out his fanboy dreams! Bonus for Guen.
• Group: Jarlaxle Baenre (Legend of Drizzt) & Minthara Baenre (Baldur's Gate): I desperately want to see Minthara interacting with her weird uncle/horrible cousin/who is this horrid man Jarlaxle.

DC Comics

Milestone

• Carlos Quinones Jr. (Dakotaverse): I fell in love with Fade after from like two panels in the Milestone 30th Anniversary Special and reading Blood Syndicate just made me love him more. I love his look, I love his powers, I love that he's closeted and tragically in love with his dead teammate. Just go wild showing off his powers! I prefer old-continuity Fade (unless it's new and old Fade together), and I'd love to see the rest of the Blood Syndicate and Fade/Tech-9 or any other guy you ship him with.
• Group: Carlos Quinones Jr./Masquerade: I love that they are the opposite of trans/MLM solidarity...the idea of Fade being like "I'm affirming your gender by being attracted to you" and Mask appreciating that not at all is kind of hilarious. The tension and antagonism between them is great, with neither of them truly accepting their own identity and definitely not trusting the other with knowledge of it.
  • Masquerade taking on Tech-9's form to taunt/throw off/maybe just hit on Fade
  • Totally not homoerotic fighting (spoilers: it's homoerotic)
  • Fade looking out at Masquerade in bird form

Infinity, Inc.

• Beth Chapel: I love Beth and her no-nonsense demeanor and how she'll take on this superhero mantle but her true responsibility is being a doctor. All of her looks are great, civilian or not; the yellow-and-black Infinity Inc. costume is my favorite, but costume redesigns would also be rad.
• Group: Beth Chapel & Charles McNider (DCU): Their relationship is so sweet in Infinity Inc. and I just want to see them hang out and/or be badass together. And appreciating Hooty! Pieter can come too.
• Group: Beth Chapel & Mr. Bones and Group: Beth Chapel/Mr. Bones: I LOVE their friendship in Infinity Inc and I think they should hug and/or make out somehow! I love Bones' Infinity, Inc. look (unless it's after Beth's resurrection), and the Manhunter makeup and/or other methods of making him visible/touchable are great for shipping reasons!
  • Holding hands/otherwise touching with gloves on because that's the only way they can
  • Bones making pervy doctor jokes at Beth while she tends to him and rolls her eyes
  • A reunion hug after she comes back to life
• Mr. Bones (DC Comics): I love this weird, goofy, secretly tragic skeleton man! His Infinity Inc. costume is my favorite, but yeah he looks good in a suit. If you show his skin, I prefer his hair from Infinity, Inc. over his later bald look because it's cute okay

Starman

• Group: Creator's Choice of Starmen: I just love them and think they should hang out! Any and all are welcome; if you'd like suggestions, Mikaal and Will need more love. Anything from a lineup to a duo just sharing stories to a Starman cookout is great! Courtney and Sylvester can come too, along with whatever side characters (esp. Tony for Mik and Jayne for Will).
• Group: Jack Knight/Richard Swift: Check my journal's Starman tag for lots of (fic) prompts and gushing! I love them and I would love any art of them! See below for the Shade's appearance preferences; for Jack, I love the goatee, brown eyes, and hideous shirts.
  • Shade being a gentleman: offering his arm, kissing Jack's hand, etc.
  • Mirroring each other as Opal's protectors.
  • Sexy times with shadows caressing Jack. Just linking this one cover for no reason,
  • Shade and Teddy bonding while Jack's heart melts. (Tea party? Tea party.)
• Group: Jay Garrick/Richard Swift: You cannot convince me that the Shade is not in love with Jay. I like both one-sided or reciprocated for this prompt, and I'm fondest of older Jay. Jay/Joan is great too! I prefer Shade's modern outfit but also Jay reminding him of his Golden Age outfit is comedy gold.
  • Shade being a gentleman (see above), or Jay being a gentleman and Shade just not knowing how to deal with it.
  • A playful clash for old time's sake, or Shade teasing him villainously while they're just hanging out.
  • Hanging out as friends for the first time! Joan bringing coffee while Shade is surprisingly flustered just sitting across the table from Jay, etc.
• Mikaal Tomas: Mikaal is a delight and I love his disco style and character development as he discoverswho he used to be and is now! I love his first appearance look, his Snejbjerg look from Starman, and basically any other look except Cry for Justice.
  • Any 70s, disco-inspired look
  • David Bowie lyrics and/or cosplay
  • Looking out over Opal and doing Starmanny things
• Group: Mikaal Tomas/Creator's Choice of Male Character: I love bisexual king Mikaal Tomas and right now I want to see him shipped with every male character in the DCU. (M/M/F or M/M/NB are also great!) I love Mik/Tony, Mik/Jack Knight, Mik/Shade and any canon ships...but I'd also love to see any random character who should make out with the hot blue man whether or not they've met. (And I mean anyone, like Congo Bill or weirder too) Disco!
• Richard Swift: I love him!!! I love his fancy outfits and flair for the dramatic and sexy shadow powers. I like his modern look; my fave artists for him are Tony Harris, Peter Snejbjerg, and Cully Hamner, so any combo of those or your own style is great! Painted nails are my favorite little detail.
  • Sexy shadows! Just doing anything cool or stylized with his shadow powers is great.
  • Storytelling! Telling stories to OCs or whatever canon children is delightful.
  • Smudge! I love Smudge and I love the Shade doting on him or vice versa. Smudge painting the Shade's nails!!!
  • Any combo of Shades--comics, Stargirl, DCAU, Young Justice, etc. I'm fond of all of them and would love to see what they make of each other.
  • Shade just slightly rumpled or unbuttoned is my catnip.

The Legend of Drizzt Series - R.A. Salvatore
Fandom-specific DNW: pale Artemis (if his skin could reasonably be described as "brown," it's good)

• Group: Artemis Entreri/Jarlaxle Baenre: I started reading the Drizzt series and I about as Normal about these two as they are towards each other. I love their complicated and angsty and hilarious relationship, and how incredibly well they get along until they don't. I'd like Artemis's skin to be brown; besides that, going off the less janky canon illustrations or your own interpretation of either of them are both great. I like both long and short-haired Artemis, but no buzz cut. The more flamboyant Jarlaxle's clothing the better, bring back the crop top and rainbow cape
  • Hilarious and/or homoerotic canon moments (esp. their apartment and Artemis' painting of Jarlaxle with a knife in the crotch)
  • Artemis pinning Jarlaxle against a wall in a totally-not-sexy way
  • Weirdly tender hatesex
  • Jarlaxle dressing Artemis in those fancy new clothes and jewelry he got him
  • Seeing each other for the first time after the time skip/"mutual" betrayal

Planescape: Torment
Fandom-specific DNW: currently evil Nameless One

• Group: Morte/The Nameless One: I love these two's complicated relationship and the loyalty and guilt that binds them together. Plus they're absolutely hilarious. I adore this game and all its settings and characters, so feel free to go wild as long as these two are included! I also love both of their visual designs, so anything playing on the horror of their looks would be fun. Also I love the Nameless One's other incarnations!
  
  • Hanging out in Sigil - getting tattoos, going to an art gallery, finding a new door, etc.
  • TNO doing a Hamlet pose with Morte (bonus points for Morte snarking on it and/or smooches)
  • TNO standing back to the camera with "Don't trust the skull" visible on his back, maybe with Morte also facing away and chattering away
